Jason E. Cuomo is a private attorney with extensive experience representing clients in family law and select personal injury cases. For nearly two decades, he has litigated hundreds of contested matters and numerous appeals, developing a reputation for practical, client-focused advocacy. Mr. Cuomo earned his B.S., summa cum laude, from Towson University in 2001. He went on to obtain his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2004, where he received the Appellate Legal Writing Award. Earlier in his education, he graduated from Calvert Hall College in 1997. Following law school, he served as a judicial clerk in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, gaining valuable insight into the judicial process before entering private practice.
Since beginning his career, Mr. Cuomo has handled a wide range of family law disputes, including divorce, custody, and related matters. His appellate work has further shaped Maryland family law, with published opinions in cases such as Huntley v. Huntley and Deise v. Deise. Beyond family law, he selectively represents clients in serious personal injury cases, drawing on his litigation skills to secure fair outcomes for those facing life-changing injuries. His courtroom experience allows him to provide clients with both strong advocacy and realistic guidance about the judicial process.
Jason E. Cuomo is admitted to the Court of Appeals of Maryland and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. He is an active member of the Baltimore County Bar Association, the Justinian Society, and the St. Thomas More Society of Maryland.
