Jason A. Helsel

Jason A. Helsel is an accomplished trial attorney with a reputation as one of California’s most prepared and aggressive courtroom advocates. For over two decades, he has represented victims of catastrophic injuries and wrongful death, earning recognition for his relentless pursuit of justice. Known for his strategic litigation style, Jason focuses on uncovering the truth behind every case and achieving the most favorable outcomes for his clients, even against powerful insurance companies and corporations.

Jason earned his B.A. in Agribusiness from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and obtained his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco. His academic training combined business insight with legal expertise, preparing him for the complexities of high-stakes litigation. He further refined his courtroom skills as a graduate of the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College, an elite program emphasizing storytelling and human connection in advocacy.

Before becoming a partner at his current firm, Jason gained experience as an associate at Seltzer, Caplan, McMahon, Vitek, and later as Of-Counsel at Lang, Richert & Patch in Fresno. Since 2010, he has served as a partner, where he has led numerous trials resulting in substantial verdicts for his clients. His innovative use of focus groups and human-centered trial techniques consistently yields outstanding results.
