Janice L. Gauthier

Janice L. Gauthier is the managing attorney of The Gauthier Law Group, LLC in Milwaukee. Her practice areas include commercial real estate, commercial finance, business acquisitions, and corporate and non-profit transactions. She represents a wide range of business and nonprofit organizations, including closely held businesses, lenders, real estate developers and brokers, property owners and managers, manufacturers, retailers, health care organizations, universities, and technology businesses.

Gauthier earned an A.B., cum laude, from Harvard University in 1983 and a J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 1986. Her academic record included the Dean’s List and several scholarship and merit honors. Gauthier began her career at Sidley & Austin in Chicago, then worked as Senior Attorney for The Marcus Corporation in Milwaukee. She later served as Vice President and General Counsel of a Milwaukee-area real estate development company before establishing The Gauthier Law Group, LLC. Her experience includes work for public companies, commercial lenders, real estate businesses, hospitality clients, manufacturers, insurers, retailers, hospitals, universities, technology businesses, and media organizations.
