She later obtained her Juris Doctor – 1993 from Valparaiso University School of Law, where she was an active member of the Moot Court Society. Janet’s broad legal background covers several practice areas, with a strong concentration in real estate and title insurance. As a certified Indiana and Federal Government Contractor, she oversees title, escrow, and closing services for agencies including the City of Indianapolis, the State of Indiana, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.

Janet is admitted to practice law in Indiana (1993) and Pennsylvania (2017). She is also a licensed title insurance producer for the State of Indiana and serves as General Counsel for Hocker Title, offering comprehensive title insurance, closing, and settlement services. Her affiliations include the Indiana State Bar Association, Indianapolis Bar Association, Indiana Land Title Association, and membership with Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity and Delta Zeta.
