Jane Kim

Jane Kim is a seasoned attorney with a diverse legal practice focused on civil litigation, international business transactions, and real estate matters. She provides strategic legal support to clients ranging from local entrepreneurs to multinational corporations. Her work extends beyond typical legal counsel, managing complex, multi-jurisdictional legal teams and offering clients seamless coordination across borders.

Jane holds a BIA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (1996). She earned her J.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law in 2005, where she was a law review executive board member and earned multiple academic honors. She also studied EU law at Oxford University’s St. John’s College. Later, she completed an LLM in Health Law with a concentration in Compliance Studies from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, whose Health Law program is nationally ranked.

Jane regularly litigates business disputes in both state and federal courts and has handled cases involving international defendants through the Hague Convention. Her litigation portfolio includes representing clients in jury trials, federal appeals, and international arbitration proceedings. She has argued complex tax issues before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and has represented clients in commercial lease disputes and cross-border arbitration.

In addition to litigation, Jane provides corporate legal services such as contract negotiation, internal policy development, and joint venture structuring. She has worked closely with Fortune 500 companies and has held a senior in-house counsel role while living in Saudi Arabia, managing international healthcare-related transactions.
