James Wright

James Wright is a West Virginia personal injury attorney with Hartley Law Group who has more than three decades of trial experience. Wright handles complex medical and professional negligence, workplace and industrial accidents, product liability, and other serious injury matters. The practice includes cases in state and federal courts in West Virginia and Ohio, along with appellate work, and draws on extensive experience with both medical issues and industrial or corporate disputes.

Wright earned a J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law in 1994 and a B.S. from Lock Haven University in 1990. Wright participated in the West Virginia Law Review and later served as an adjunct instructor in business and law courses at West Virginia University. This education supports a litigation practice requiring legal research, medical analysis, written advocacy, and the presentation of complex evidence to courts and juries.

Wright has tried cases involving medical negligence across numerous specialties as well as industrial accidents, product liability, and other significant civil claims.
