James Thomas Ryan

James Thomas Ryan is a seasoned attorney who focuses on criminal defense and DUI/DWI matters. His legal work is shaped by nearly two decades in law enforcement, giving him a practical view of police procedure, investigations, and courtroom evidence. James earned his B.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland, University College in 2014. He earned his MBA from St. Joseph’s University in 2018. He earned his J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in 2022. These degrees support his work in criminal justice, legal analysis, and advocacy.

James also completed the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center’s Uniform Police Training Course and the Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commission’s Police Certification Course. He completed the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Standard Field Sobriety Test course, which adds value when reviewing traffic stops, field testing, and DUI/DWI evidence.
