Leonard R. Stamm

Leonard R. Stamm is a Maryland DUI, DWI, drunk driving, traffic, and criminal defense lawyer. He has practiced in District, Circuit, and appellate courts since 1984. He is widely recognized for his work in drunk driving defense and Motor Vehicle Administration hearings. His practice includes defending clients against criminal charges, challenging evidence, handling license issues, and protecting rights during court and administrative proceedings.

Stamm earned his B.A. from Wesleyan University. He earned his J.D. from Catholic University. He is admitted to the Maryland Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, the United States Supreme Court, and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. His education and admissions support trial, appellate, and administrative defense work involving DUI science, constitutional issues, search questions, and courtroom advocacy.

Stamm has written and taught extensively on Maryland DUI law. He authored the Maryland DUI Law and has updated it yearly.
