James “Bo” Harrison is an experienced attorney with Harrison | Gammons, where he has practiced since the firm’s inception and its predecessor firm. His primary areas of focus include real estate development and financing, as well as representing lenders, developers, and builders. Bo regularly assists clients in the acquisition, construction, leasing, and sale of both commercial and residential properties. He also represents financial institutions in closing, securing, and enforcing loans, as well as handling the resale of REO properties.
Bo earned his B.S. from the University of Alabama in 1970 and his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1973. That same year, he was admitted to the Alabama Bar, and he is also a member of the Huntsville Bar Association, the Alabama State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the American Judicature Society.
In addition to his real estate practice, Bo is a title agent for several major title insurance companies, including Chicago Title, Old Republic, Fidelity National, Commonwealth Land Title, and Stewart Title. He has worked on both local and national transactions, as well as assisting with claims resolution. Beyond real estate, he advises small businesses on formation and operations and continues to assist clients with wills, trusts, and probate matters.
