James A. Jennings III

James A. Jennings III is a director and founding member of Jennings Teague in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He focuses on complex civil litigation, including intellectual property litigation, product liability, employment litigation, insurance defense, and bad faith matters. Jennings represents businesses and insurers in significant disputes and brings decades of trial experience to matters that require detailed case preparation, strategic analysis, and effective advocacy in state and federal courts.

Jennings earned his J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1974 and a B.A. from Oklahoma State University in 1971. His legal education provided a foundation for a long litigation career involving complex factual records, technical issues, commercial disputes, and appellate questions. He was admitted to the Oklahoma bar in 1974 and is also admitted before all three federal district courts in Oklahoma, the Tenth Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
