Jacob B. Natwick

Jacob B. Natwick is a partner whose general practice serves companies and individuals in planning, transactional, and controversy matters. He advises clients on corporate structuring and financing, contracts, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, and secured transactions. His work also includes copyright and trademark matters, construction law, utility law, agricultural law, and estate planning. He helps clients address both immediate legal needs and long-term business or personal objectives.

Jacob earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa in 2010 after receiving a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota in 2007. His legal education strengthened his skills in research, analysis, writing, and practical problem-solving. While in law school, he authored an Iowa Law Review article examining unreasonable delays in veterans’ mental health benefits appeals and the role of federal district courts in providing a remedy.

Jacob’s experience covers a broad range of business and individual matters. He prepares and reviews contracts, assists with corporate structures and financing arrangements, supports mergers and acquisitions, and handles real estate and construction issues. He also helps clients prepare and administer estates, wills, and trusts and provides guidance in probate matters. His practice includes state and federal controversies, allowing him to assist clients when legal questions develop into formal disputes.

Jacob B. Natwick is admitted to practice in Iowa and Nebraska and before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Iowa. He belongs to the American, Iowa State, Nebraska State, and Woodbury County bar associations and has served on the Woodbury County Bar Association Executive Board since 2022. His community involvement includes former board service with United Way of Siouxland and the Siouxland Film Festival.
