Domenic P. Aiello is a partner at Lyne Woodworth & Evarts LLP, whose practice focuses on trust and estate planning, administration, and civil litigation. He joined his firm in 1983 and became a partner in 1991. His litigation experience includes insurance, business and commercial disputes, torts, trusts, estates, and tax lawsuits and disputes. He has represented insurance companies, real estate lenders, commercial lenders, individuals, and other clients in complex civil disputes.
Mr. Aiello earned his J.D. from New England School of Law, where he served as senior editor of the New England Law Review. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from Boston University. His academic training in law and political science provided a strong foundation for estate, probate, tax, and civil litigation matters.
Mr. Aiello has substantial experience in probate litigation involving will contests, guardian contests, and trust document reformation. His tax litigation work includes representing clients in challenges before the IRS and Massachusetts Appellate Tax Board. After law school, he served as a law clerk to the Justices of the Massachusetts Superior Court. He later worked as staff counsel to the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.
Domenic P. Aiello is admitted in Massachusetts and before several federal courts, including the U.S. Tax Court and the First Circuit Court of Appeals. He belongs to the civil litigation and probate law sections of the Massachusetts Bar Association. His practice combines decades of experience in trusts, estates, probate disputes, tax controversies, commercial litigation, insurance matters, and related civil proceedings.
