Jackson C. Ely

Jackson C. Ely is an attorney whose practice spans business and corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and litigation. He assists companies with entity formation, contract drafting, and general corporate matters, while also representing clients in disputes. His work covers industries such as banking, energy, agriculture, hospitality, construction, manufacturing, and emerging technologies.

Jackson earned his B.A. in History from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 2014. He later attended the University of Kansas School of Law, completing his Juris Doctor in 2021. While at KU Law, he obtained certificates in Business and Commercial Law, International Trade and Finance, and Tax Law, alongside distinctions such as Pro Bono recognition and multiple CALI Excellence awards.

Jackson is admitted to practice in Kansas, the United States District Court for the District of Kansas, and, more recently, the Texas Bar. He remains active in the legal community through membership in both the Kansas Bar Association and the Wichita Bar Association.

Jackson also brings a unique background outside of law. Before law school, he worked in the wine and restaurant industry, earning the Introductory Sommelier designation in 2018. His wide-ranging perspective benefits clients navigating complex business challenges, and his recognition includes Wichita Business Journal’s Emerging Leaders in 2023 and 40 Under 40 in 2025.
