Jacki Anderson

Jacki Anderson is a seasoned trial attorney focusing on voting rights, civil rights, and complex litigation. She represents clients in high-stakes legal matters involving election law, constitutional challenges, and regulatory disputes. Her work includes advising organizations and individuals facing complex legal questions involving government policy and civil rights protections. Through strategic litigation and legal analysis, she helps clients navigate complicated legal frameworks and defend their rights in both trial and appellate courts.

Jacki earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School. During law school, she received the Dean’s Merit Award and served as Executive Articles Editor for the Michigan Journal of Race & Law. She earned her B.A., with high distinction, from the University of Michigan, where she was a member of the Honors Program and Phi Beta Kappa. Her education provided a strong academic foundation for her work in constitutional and civil rights law.

Before joining private practice, Jacki served in the Civil Rights Division of the United States Department of Justice. In that role, she led federal voting rights cases involving redistricting challenges and legal issues related to absentee ballot laws. She also worked with state and local election officials to ensure compliance with federal voting statutes, providing legal guidance on complex election-related regulatory matters.

Earlier in her career, Jacki Anderson worked at national law firms where she handled constitutional and commercial disputes in both trial and appellate courts. She has maintained a strong commitment to public service and pro bono advocacy, particularly in matters involving civil rights and systemic reform. Her dedication to pro bono work has been recognized with the Proskauer Rose Golden Gavel Awards.
