About
Jack S. White is senior counsel at Welts, White & Fontaine in Nashua, New Hampshire, where he has practiced since 1980. His work includes civil and commercial litigation, personal injury cases, construction disputes, and property tax abatement matters. He represents clients in contested proceedings and also works through arbitration and mediation when those processes fit the dispute. His long practice has involved a range of issues affecting individuals, businesses, property owners, and participants in construction matters.
White earned a B.A. cum laude from Northeastern University and a J.D. from Western New England University School of Law. During law school, he served as managing editor of the law review. After graduating, he clerked for Justice Robert W. Larrow of the Vermont Supreme Court from 1979 to 1980, gaining early experience with appellate analysis, legal writing, and judicial decision-making.
White has spent decades handling matters that require litigation strategy, factual development, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy. His practice covers personal injury claims as well as commercial and construction disputes, and he also advises on property tax abatement. Arbitration and mediation are part of his work, allowing him to pursue resolution through both adjudicative and alternative dispute processes.
Jack S. White has been active in the Nashua legal community and received the Nashua Bar Association Humanitarian Award in 2013. He has also served as president of the Nashua Bar Association. His extensive litigation background and experience with multiple forms of dispute resolution provide a practical foundation for helping clients assess claims, defenses, settlement options, and procedural strategy.
