Jacinta Hall

Jacinta Hall is the founder of The J. A. Hall Law Firm, PLLC, based in Olive Branch, Mississippi. With nearly 20 years of experience, she represents clients in federal, state, and local matters. Her practice is built on strong advocacy, integrity, and a commitment to guiding clients through complex legal processes.

Jacinta earned a J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law and a B.A. in Music and Psychology from the University of Mississippi. She is also pursuing a Master of Laws in Taxation at the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law.

Jacinta began her legal career as a clerk at the Mississippi Court of Appeals for Justice Leslie D. King. She then served as an Assistant Public Defender in Hinds County, Mississippi, and Shelby County, Tennessee, where she developed a strong reputation for her advocacy in criminal defense cases.

Jacinta continued her work as an Assistant Federal Public Defender in the Southern District of Mississippi. In this role, she handled federal cases and strengthened her litigation skills. Her experience in both state and federal systems allows her to address a wide range of legal issues.

Jacinta now leads her firm, where she has achieved results including trial acquittals, dismissals, and reduced sentences. She focuses on providing clear guidance and works closely with clients to ensure they understand each step of their case and their available legal options.

Jacinta is also active in education and community efforts. She serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Mississippi School of Law and presents at institutions such as Yale and the University of Chicago. She is also alumni faculty with Gideon’s Promise.

Jacinta Hall has been recognized as a 2019 Leader in Law by the Mississippi Business Journal. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and the Junior League of Memphis, reflecting her ongoing involvement in professional and community organizations.
