J. Scott Gilbert

Admitted to the Mississippi Bar in 2006 and the Texas Bar in 2017, he is also licensed in multiple federal courts, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Before joining Watkins & Eager in 2016, Scott served as an Assistant United States Attorney for ten years. During his tenure with the Department of Justice, he prosecuted and managed high-profile cases involving money laundering, asset forfeiture, and healthcare fraud.
