J. Joseph Weber has practiced law in Wichita and throughout south-central Kansas for over 35 years, representing individuals, families, and businesses in a diverse range of legal matters. His practice focuses on family law, probate, estate administration, landlord-tenant disputes, and business-related legal matters. Known for practical problem-solving, he provides clients with clear guidance and trusted representation across both litigation and transactional matters.
Mr. Weber earned his Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law in 1984, where he co-authored a published article on medical malpractice legislation in the Washburn Law Journal. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance from Kansas State University in 1981. Following law school, he served as law clerk to the Honorable Patrick F. Kelly, United States District Court Judge for the District of Kansas, from 1984 to 1986.
Admitted to practice in Kansas since 1985, Mr. Weber also appears before the United States District Court for the District of Kansas and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. His experience in federal and state courts enables him to provide clients with comprehensive advocacy across a wide range of disputes.
Mr. Weber has served the legal community as Judge Pro Tem for the City of Wichita Municipal Court from 1997 to 2018. He has also presented continuing legal education seminars on advanced family law, probate and estate administration, and landlord evictions.
A member of both the Kansas Bar Association and the Wichita Bar Association, J. Joseph Weber continues to provide experienced, client-centered counsel in family, probate, and business law.
