J. Gordon Rudd, Jr.

J. Gordon Rudd, Jr. is the managing partner of Zimmerman Reed LLP, where he represents clients in consumer fraud, mass tort, wildfire and disaster evacuation claims, employment law, and sports law-related matters. He has been appointed lead counsel in state and federal cases across the country. His work includes complex litigation involving injured consumers, businesses, employees, and communities affected by large-scale events, with a focus on strategic case development and resolution.

Gordon earned a J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where he received the American Jurisprudence Award in Legal Research and Writing. He earned a B.A. in English Literature and Government from Connecticut College and also attended Bowdoin College. His education provided a foundation in legal research, writing, advocacy, and public affairs that supports his work in complex civil litigation.

Gordon has held leadership roles in multidistrict and class action litigation involving consumer claims, employment disputes, environmental incidents, data breaches, and product-related matters. His representative experience includes cases involving wildfire victims, retired NFL players with concussive injuries, refinery explosions, nursing home residents, and financial institutions affected by a major data breach. He is admitted in Minnesota, the US District Court for the District of Minnesota, and the US Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
