About

J. Adam Bridwell is a Raleigh workers’ compensation lawyer and partner who represents employees injured on the job or affected by occupational diseases. He focuses his practice solely on North Carolina workers’ compensation claims. His work includes helping clients pursue medical treatment, wage replacement benefits, and other compensation available after workplace injuries. He handles claims from initial proceedings through appeals and works to address delays that can prevent injured employees from receiving needed benefits.

Adam earned a B.A. in Marketing and Management from the University of South Carolina. He later received his J.D. from Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. During law school, he served as a case summary writer for the Campbell Law Observer and belonged to Phi Alpha Delta. He completed an internship in a district attorney’s office, gaining early exposure to legal practice and courtroom procedure.

Adam began concentrating on workers’ compensation law after earning his law degree. His experience includes representing injured workers in claims involving workplace accidents and occupational diseases. He has prevailed in matters that reached the North Carolina Court of Appeals. His focused practice gives him substantial experience with the procedures, medical issues, benefit disputes, and insurance challenges that arise during workers’ compensation claims.

J. Adam Bridwell is a board-certified specialist in workers’ compensation law and has maintained that focused practice for many years. He was selected to the North Carolina Super Lawyers Rising Stars list in 2014 and 2015. His professional memberships include the North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Bar Association, and North Carolina Advocates for Justice. He combines focused workers’ compensation knowledge with direct client communication when helping injured employees pursue benefits and resolve claim-related disputes.
