About
Imad Y. Elias is a seasoned employment law attorney with more than three decades of courtroom experience and over 35 jury trials. His practice centers on representing employees in complex workplace disputes, including discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wrongful termination matters, where careful preparation and persuasive trial advocacy remain central to his work.
Imad began his academic path at Claremont McKenna College, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Economics & Government and being named to the Dean’s List. He later completed his Juris Doctor at Pepperdine University School of Law in 1992.
Imad entered private practice in 1994 after completing a year of pro bono service with San Fernando Valley Neighborhood Legal Services, where he represented low-income clients in court almost daily. That early experience shaped his litigation skills and reinforced a long-standing commitment to advocating for employees facing unfair workplace treatment.
Imad has built a reputation as a trusted trial lawyer for employment cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. His experience has led other attorneys to seek him as co-counsel in demanding trials, including a disability discrimination and failure-to-accommodate case that resulted in a $1.1 million jury verdict.
Imad has been selected every year since 2015 to the California Super Lawyers list in Employment Law, a distinction recognizing the top five percent of attorneys statewide. This recognition reflects consistent courtroom results, professional respect, and sustained focus on employee rights litigation throughout California.
Imad is admitted to the California Bar and is licensed to practice in all California Superior Courts, all California Appellate Courts, and the California Supreme Court. He is also licensed to appear before all Federal District Courts in California, representing clients at both trial and appellate levels.
Imad Y. Elias brings decades of litigation experience, disciplined trial strategy, and a client-focused approach to employment law representation. His work continues to center on guiding employees through high-stakes disputes with clarity, preparation, and steady courtroom advocacy grounded in long-standing legal experience.
