Howell earned his B.A. in Media Studies from the University of Virginia before completing his J.D. at the University of Virginia School of Law. While in law school, he served as Editor of Articles Development for the Virginia Sports & Entertainment Law Journal and was on the Editorial Board for the Journal of Law & Politics.
Howell’s practice covers breach of contract, construction claims, business torts, and shareholder disputes. He has led cases that resulted in multimillion-dollar judgments and favorable settlements for both individuals and companies. His courtroom success includes high-profile music and entertainment cases, often involving copyright and contract issues.
