Holly H. Walker

Holly H. Walker is an associate attorney at Cosgrove Simpson whose practice focuses on financial services regulatory matters and litigation. Walker represents investors, financial advisers, and other clients in securities and business law disputes and handles non-compete and contractual covenant enforcement matters in state and federal court. Her legal work is supported by prior experience in banking and wealth management, giving her practical familiarity with financial products, lending relationships, portfolio operations, and regulatory concerns.

Walker earned a J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2024 and a B.S. in Business, with a concentration in Finance, from Colorado State University in 2014. During law school, she served as a Rule 13 student attorney in the Entrepreneurship and Community Development transactional clinic, assisting nonprofit organizations and small businesses with entity formation, tax exemptions, and governance. She also worked as a teaching assistant for legal research and writing, strengthening skills that support her current regulatory and litigation practice.

Walker spent eight years in banking and wealth management before law school. Her work included supporting workplace retirement solutions, assisting with model portfolios, underwriting residential and commercial real estate loans, and managing a substantial commercial real estate loan portfolio. She reviewed financial statements, worked with legal counsel on loan modifications and negotiations, and coordinated with compliance and risk teams on lending policies and US Treasury regulations affecting financial institutions.

Holly H. Walker serves as Secretary for the Securities Law Section of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. Her combined legal and financial-services background supports clients facing regulatory questions, securities disputes, contractual conflicts, and business litigation.
