Helena Younossi

Helena S. Younossi is the founder and principal attorney of Younossi Law, PC, a nationally recognized immigration law firm based in South San Francisco, California. With over two decades of experience, Helena represents a broad spectrum of clients—from early-stage startups to Fortune 500 companies—in U.S. business immigration matters and regulatory compliance, as well as individuals and families navigating the immigration system.

Helena earned her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law and her B.A. from UCLA. She is admitted to the California Supreme Court, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and is an inactive member of the Washington, D.C. Bar.

Helena advises employers on complex visa strategies and compliance matters, including H-1B, L-1, E, O-1, TN visas, I-9 audits, mergers & acquisitions, and PERM-based green cards. She also works with individuals on family-based immigration, naturalization, and humanitarian visas. She has built a reputation for solving intricate immigration challenges with creativity, precision, and unwavering client dedication.

Before launching her own firm, Helena served on the State Bar of California’s Executive Committee for the International Law Section and has played active roles within the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), including on its National Ethics and Practice Management Committee. She is also a contributing member of the AILA National Ethics Compendium advisory board.
