Harold L. Rosnick

Harold L. Rosnick is a seasoned personal injury attorney and a founding member of Miller, Rosnick, D’Amico, August & Butler in Bridgeport, Connecticut. With over 36 years of trial experience, Mr. Rosnick concentrates his practice on serious personal injury, wrongful death, workers’ compensation, and product liability cases. He is known for representing individuals and families impacted by catastrophic accidents and defective products, delivering aggressive representation and impactful results.

Mr. Rosnick earned his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1972 and his B.A., cum laude, from the University of Connecticut in 1969.

Mr. Rosnick has successfully litigated high-stakes injury cases involving motor vehicle collisions, commercial trucking accidents, and construction site injuries. His achievements include multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements, such as a $3 million construction injury case, a $2.5 million wrongful death verdict involving a child, and a $1.8 million settlement for a young woman injured by a drunk driver.

Notably, Mr. Rosnick was the first attorney in Connecticut to bring a product liability claim against DePuy Orthopaedics for a defective hip implant. His pioneering work in product liability and accident reconstruction has positioned him as a leader in the state’s personal injury field.

Admitted to practice in all Connecticut state and federal courts, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the U.S. Tax Court, Mr. Rosnick also serves on the board of the Connecticut Trial Lawyer’s Association. He is a long-standing member of the Greater Bridgeport, Connecticut, and American Bar Associations, as well as the American Association for Justice.

Harold L. Rosnick’s recognitions include being named a Connecticut Super Lawyer from 2010 through 2024 and receiving the Liberty Bell Award and the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Commission’s Championship for Justice and Nonviolence Award in 2024.
