Hammad completed his academic journey with a B.A., cum laude, from the University of Maryland in 1997 and later earned his J.D. from Washington & Lee University School of Law in 2000. Hammad began his legal career after admission to the Maryland State Courts in 2000. He first served as a Judicial Law Clerk in Charles County from 2000 to 2001, gaining valuable insight into courtroom procedures. He then worked as an Assistant States Attorney from 2001 to 2007, handling a wide range of criminal cases.

Hammad uses his background as a former prosecutor to better understand how cases are built and challenged. This experience allows him to develop strong defense strategies tailored to each client’s situation.
