Guillaume J. Aimé advises companies across a wide range of industries on securities matters and complex business transactions. His practice includes guidance on public and private offerings, SEC reporting requirements, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital funding, corporate governance, entity formation, and commercial contracts for businesses at different stages of growth.
Guillaume built a strong academic foundation in business and law. He earned a B.S. in 2009 from the University Rene Descartes – Paris V, Rennes, France. He later completed an M.B.A., Advanced Financial Strategies and M&A, 2012 from Grand Canyon University. Guillaume then received his J.D., cum laude, in 2018 from Arizona State University.
Guillaume works extensively with companies navigating securities regulation and compliance obligations. He prepares SEC filings and provides guidance on SEC rules for both public and private companies. His work spans organizations operating in many industries, including healthcare technology, media production, and commercial real estate acquisition.
Guillaume also advises clients on complex mergers and acquisitions involving startups, investors, and established companies. His transactional work includes advising RideNow Powersports in its $575 million hybrid equity purchase and merger with RumbleOn, Inc., as well as AZPetVet in its $370 million asset sale to The Aspen Group.
Guillaume has also worked on transactions involving significant financing and restructuring matters. His experience includes advising on equity sales, private placements, and convertible debt instruments for capital raises. He has also supported transactions such as a $125 million asset sale in the transportation and logistics sector and a $1 billion debt restructuring.
Guillaume’s legal work has earned recognition from Best Lawyers in America® Ones To Watch, including honors for Business Organizations (including LLCs and Partnerships) from 2024–2026. He has also been recognized for Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisitions Law, Securities / Capital Markets Law, and Securities Regulation in 2026.
