Gregory J. Kamer

Gregory J. Kamer is a nationally recognized attorney whose practice is devoted exclusively to representing employers in all areas of labor and employment law. With a legal career spanning over four decades, he provides strategic counsel to both public and private sector clients, including healthcare systems, financial institutions, and major resort properties.

Gregory completed his Bachelor of Arts at Washington University in St. Louis and earned his Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law. He later completed an LL.M. in Labor Law from Georgetown University Law Center. His strong academic background laid the foundation for a career deeply rooted in labor law and employer advocacy.

Gregory launched his legal career in 1980 with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) in Washington, D.C., where he rose to serve as Counsel to the General Counsel. He later served as Labor Counsel for the Nevada Resort Association, advising on complex labor and employment issues in the hospitality industry. In 1986, he founded a labor and employment law firm that has since earned statewide and national recognition. Gregory’s practice focuses on collective bargaining, labor negotiations, arbitration, and representing employers before the NLRB and state labor and employment agencies.

Gregory has been recognized by Best Lawyers® since 1989, named a Super Lawyer since 2007, and included in Chambers USA every year since 2003. His accolades also include the Presidential Award from the Nevada State Bar and a position among the Top 100 Most Powerful Employment Attorneys by Human Resource Executive. Gregory J. Kamer continues to serve as Vice Chair of the Nevada Commission on Judicial Selection and sits on the Board of Directors for Nevada Legal Services.
