About
Gregg L. Zeff is the sole shareholder of Zeff Law Firm in Philadelphia and has practiced civil rights law since 1988. His work includes employment discrimination, retaliation, whistleblower matters, and other workplace disputes, as well as broader civil rights litigation. He represents public servants, education professionals and students, laborers, professionals, and other individuals facing unlawful treatment. His practice grew from earlier work involving prisoners’ rights and police misconduct into a substantial focus on employment and constitutional claims.
Gregg earned a J.D. from Delaware Law School of Widener University in 1988 and a B.A. from the University of Minnesota in 1985. His legal education provided the foundation for a career devoted to civil rights and employment law. Over decades of practice, he has developed experience with discrimination based on race, sex, and other protected characteristics, retaliation, whistleblowing, and constitutional issues. His academic and professional background supports litigation involving individual rights, public institutions, employers, and government conduct.
Gregg has represented clients in employment and civil rights matters involving discriminatory workplace practices, sexual and racial discrimination, retaliation, whistleblower claims, police misconduct, and related constitutional issues. His work frequently involves individuals whose careers, reputations, or civil liberties have been affected by unlawful conduct. He has also participated in legal and community organizations concerned with civil rights and social justice, giving him experience that extends beyond individual cases into broader professional and public-interest work.
Gregg L. Zeff has served in leadership and service roles connected to civil rights, including work with NAACP legal redress efforts and the Social Justice Law Project. He has also participated in bar and professional organizations and in public policy work involving criminal sentencing and disposition. His practice combines long-term civil rights litigation, employment advocacy, and community engagement, helping clients challenge discrimination, retaliation, whistleblower reprisals, and other conduct that infringes workplace or constitutional protections.
