About

Glenn Phillips is a senior partner and civil litigation attorney based in Seattle, Washington. His practice focuses on personal injury, consumer rights, defective products, and dangerous drugs and medical devices. He has practiced civil litigation since 1984 and has handled numerous civil jury trials. He has also settled cases involving million-dollar and multimillion-dollar recoveries. His work centers on representing people harmed by corporate conduct and protecting their ability to seek justice through the courts.

Glenn earned a Bachelor of Arts from Washington State University in 1980 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Puget Sound in 1983. He is a member of the Washington State Bar. During his first ten years in practice, he worked as an insurance defense attorney. This early experience gave him a background in defending civil claims before he developed a practice representing injured individuals seeking compensation.

Glenn opened a personal injury practice in Washington in the early 1990s and later expanded his work into pharmaceutical litigation and mass torts. His experience includes representing clients who suffered deep vein thrombosis after taking Yasmin and clients who alleged that Avandia caused serious heart-related injuries. He has also represented women injured by transvaginal mesh products. His broader litigation work includes participation in a consortium representing thousands of claimants in diesel emissions cheating claims involving Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, and other companies.

Glenn Phillips has held leadership positions on litigation committees and speaks before national and state trial lawyer groups. These include the American Association for Justice and Mass Torts Made Perfect. He is a member of the American Association for Justice and Public Justice, and an Eagle member of the Washington Association for Justice. His professional activities reflect his commitment to consumer protection and access to the courts.
