Giulia Leonard

Giulia Leonard joined the Charleston legal community in 2020 after relocating from Newport Beach, California, where she was born and raised. She brings a diverse academic and professional background to her practice, offering clients a unique perspective shaped by international education and hands-on mediation experience. Her focus includes family law and high-conflict divorce, where she is known for her ability to resolve even the most contested issues.

Giulia earned her Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from London South Bank University in England, graduating in the top 20 percent of her class. She then returned to California to attend Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law. During her legal studies, she gained practical experience that shaped her career path while also earning multiple distinctions for her academic performance.

While at Chapman, Giulia was an active participant in the school’s Mediation Clinic, where she served as a certified mediator. In that role, she handled a broad range of disputes, including small claims matters, family court cases, and requests for restraining orders. She earned three CALI Awards for Excellence in the Advanced Mediation Clinic and Legal Analysis Workshop, recognizing her outstanding performance and dedication to the study and practice of law.

Giulia’s background in mediation, combined with her training in family law, makes her particularly effective in high-conflict divorce cases. She brings both compassion and determination to her work, helping clients navigate emotionally charged disputes with skill and professionalism.
