George Humphrey

George Humphrey is Of Counsel at Allman Spry Law Firm and a seasoned civil litigation attorney with decades of courtroom experience. George earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He later completed his Juris Doctor at Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, graduating in 1997, during which time he developed a strong foundation in litigation strategy, legal analysis, and trial preparation.

George’s practice centers on civil litigation and business and commercial litigation, including real estate disputes, construction litigation, fiduciary litigation, and landlord-tenant matters. He also represents clients in serious personal injury claims, collections, judgment enforcement, and tort and contract disputes requiring detailed factual and legal evaluation.

With extensive trial experience, George routinely advises clients on risk assessment, case strategy, and resolution options. His work includes navigating zoning and land-use disputes, enforcing contractual rights, and representing parties in high-stakes commercial conflicts, where practical solutions and effective advocacy are critical.

In addition to private practice, George brings a valuable perspective from his prior service in the United States Marine Corps Reserve, where he retired as a Lieutenant Colonel after more than two decades of service.
