Scott M. Rothman is a partner at Curley & Rothman, LLC and a highly respected attorney with a strong focus on real estate law, wills and estate administration, and business and contract law. He is known for his careful legal analysis, strategic thinking, and ability to guide clients through complex legal matters. Scott works with individuals, business owners, and companies, helping them understand their legal options and take practical steps toward effective solutions. His approach is built on asking the right questions and delivering clear, reliable guidance at every stage of a case or transaction.
Scott earned his J.D. in Law from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2005. During law school, he was deeply involved in Trial Advocacy, served as a Teaching Assistant for Legal Research and Writing, and acted as Senior Note and Comment Editor for the Political and Civil Rights Law Review. He was named to the Dean’s List for four semesters and served as a Judicial Clerk to the Honorable William Mahon of the Chester County Court of Common Pleas. Scott founded the firm’s real estate practice and leads both litigation and transactional matters. He represents clients in residential and commercial real estate disputes, title claims, financing issues, zoning matters, and complex property transactions. In court, he is recognized for handling fraud claims, quiet title actions, lien priority disputes, and foreclosure-related matters.
Scott maintains a broad civil practice across Pennsylvania and New Jersey beyond real estate. He advises clients on business and contract disputes, estate administration, insurance coverage, construction conflicts, and creditor rights. Through litigation, negotiation, and advisory services, he helps clients recover losses, enforce rights, and achieve legally sound outcomes.
Scott M. Rothman is also an active legal educator and author, regularly speaking at continuing legal education programs and publishing on real estate law topics. His experience across trial courts, appellate courts, and alternative dispute resolution venues reflects a career dedicated to strong advocacy and dependable legal counsel.
