Frank M. Caprio is an accomplished attorney specializing in intellectual property (IP) law, with extensive experience in copyright, trademark, patent, and trade secret matters.
A graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law (J.D.), where he served as Senior Editor of the Alabama Law Review and was recognized as a Hugo Black Scholar, Mr. Caprio also holds an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Alabama at Huntsville and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Vanderbilt University.

His strategic advice and litigation experience have helped businesses safeguard critical assets in competitive industries.Before entering the legal profession, Mr. Caprio was a Naval Flight Officer and Mission Commander, conducting Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) missions aboard Lockheed P-3 Orion aircraft. His engineering background further enhances his ability to provide technical analysis and counsel on intricate IP and technology issues.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Caprio regularly speaks on intellectual property topics to business and legal associations and has held leadership roles in local and state bar associations. He has also contributed significantly to his community through service on boards, including the Huntsville Hospital Foundation, Huntsville YMCA, and Biztech.
