Frank J. Schlehofer

Frank J. Schlehofer is the attorney and founder of Schlehofer Law Offices, P.C., with offices in Wasilla and Anchorage, Alaska. For more than thirty years, he has focused his practice on representing injured Alaskans and families affected by serious accidents and wrongful death. His work includes personal injury claims involving motor vehicle crashes, medical malpractice, construction accidents, animal attacks, and other events causing significant physical and financial harm.

Schlehofer earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alaska in 1986, graduating cum laude. He graduated cum laude from the University of Puget Sound School of Law in 1990 and passed the Alaska Bar that year. His education, followed by decades of injury litigation, provided a foundation for analyzing liability, damages, insurance issues, and the evidentiary questions that often determine how personal injury claims are evaluated and resolved.

Before founding his current firm, Schlehofer spent fifteen years handling catastrophic and high-value matters at the Law Office of William G. Azar, P.C. From 2006 to 2010, he was a shareholder at Azar and Schlehofer, P.C., which later became Schlehofer Law Offices, P.C. His experience also includes arguing an injury-related appeal before the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and obtaining a favorable appellate result.

Frank J. Schlehofer is a member of the Alaska Academy of Trial Lawyers and also brings prior experience as a licensed insurance agent. That background gives him familiarity with insurance practices as well as plaintiff-side litigation. He continues to focus on personal injury representation, helping clients address medical expenses, lost income, insurance negotiations, and litigation while preparing claims for settlement or trial based on the facts and legal issues involved.
