Frank A. Schreck

Frank A. Schreck is a nationally recognized attorney with more than four decades of experience shaping the gaming and business law landscape. As co-chair of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, LLP’s Gaming Law group, he advises leading public and private companies on licensing, compliance, and regulatory matters. Known for his ability to navigate complex financial and legal issues, Frank has guided many of the world’s largest corporations through critical transactions and regulatory challenges.

Frank earned his B.A. from Yale University before completing his J.D. at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Nevada and is an active member of the State Bar of Nevada, the Clark County Bar Association, and the International Association of Gaming Advisors. His educational foundation and professional memberships reflect a career built on expertise and commitment to advancing the practice of law.

Throughout his career, Frank has advised major clients such as Wynn Resorts, Apollo Management, Silver Lake Group, Blackstone Real Estate Advisors, and Fontainebleau Las Vegas. He developed the innovative “VoteCo” licensing structure, which assists companies in multijurisdictional transactions. His work expands beyond Nevada, helping businesses and gaming organizations in Japan, Macau, Puerto Rico, Spain, Australia, and Great Britain. His skills in both gaming and business law make him an essential advisor in corporate finance and large-scale projects.

Frank A. Schreck also shaped Nevada’s gaming regulations as the youngest person ever appointed to the Nevada Gaming Commission. He has served in leadership positions with the International Association of Gaming Advisors and is consistently recognized by Chambers, Best Lawyers, and Super Lawyers.
