Felipe Bohnet-Gomez is a partner at Rathod Mohamedbhai LLC, concentrating his legal practice on civil rights litigation and workplace discrimination claims. Since joining the firm in 2018, Felipe has dedicated his legal career to defending workplace justice and advocating for individuals facing unlawful treatment on the job. His representation spans local and federal claims, including high-impact civil rights litigation.

Felipe earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2011, where he was awarded the Dean’s Scholar Prize in Constitutional Law. He served as an articles editor for the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review and contributed to the Poverty Law Clinic. He holds a B.A. in Biology and American Studies from Washington University in St. Louis, where he was named a Lynne Cooper Harvey Scholar.

Before joining Rathod Mohamedbhai, Felipe spent five years in Washington, D.C., representing whistleblowers in cases involving the IRS, SEC, and CFTC. His efforts resulted in multimillion-dollar awards and successful retaliation claims before the U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board. His practice today includes wrongful termination, wage claims, discrimination, and whistleblower protection under both state and federal laws.

Felipe is an active leader in the legal community. He serves as Treasurer of the Colorado Bar Association’s Labor & Employment Section and the Colorado Hispanic Bar Association, where he is also a board member. He has previously served on the Colorado Bar Association’s Board of Governors and on the board of CBR YouthConnect.

Felipe Bohnet-Gomez has been recognized as a Super Lawyers “Rising Star” and one of 5280 Magazine’s “Top Lawyers” in employment litigation. He is a sought-after speaker on civil rights topics, including police misconduct and employee protections during COVID-19, and has published influential commentary on Colorado civil rights law.
