Evan D. Anema

Evan D. Anema is a partner and founding attorney at Estate Planning Solutions Law Firm, Prof. LLC in Sioux Falls. Evan focuses his practice on estate planning and business succession planning for families and business owners. He has assisted hundreds of families with the creation, maintenance, and administration of estate plans and has worked with owners of small businesses, farms, and ranches on business transition strategies.

Evan earned a J.D. from Marquette University Law School, cum laude, and a B.A. with a double major in Accounting and Business Administration from Dordt University, also cum laude. He is a Certified Public Accountant, currently inactive. His accounting and legal education gives him a strong foundation for estate and succession work involving assets, taxes, ownership, business continuity, and the financial consequences of planning decisions.

Before focusing on estate planning, Evan worked at Deloitte Tax as a certified public accountant. He now applies that tax and accounting background to estate plans and business succession arrangements for families, farms, ranches, and privately held companies. His work includes helping clients organize ownership, preserve assets, plan for transfers, and prepare for future management changes, while considering both legal structure and the practical needs of the people involved.
