Eugene Laurenzi

Eugene Laurenzi is a seasoned trial attorney with Godwin, Morris, Laurenzi & Bloomfield, P.C., where he focuses on personal injury, products liability, workers’ compensation, and medical malpractice. He has extensive experience handling complex claims, including those under the Federal Employers Liability Act (FELA), as well as maritime, longshore, and railroad cases across Tennessee and neighboring jurisdictions.

Eugene earned his Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, from Memphis State University in 1974 before completing his Juris Doctor at Memphis State University School of Law in 1981. In 1981, he was admitted to the Tennessee Bar, and in the years that followed, he gained authorization to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Western District of Tennessee and Eastern District of Arkansas, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and ultimately the U.S. Supreme Court.

In addition to his litigation practice, Eugene holds certifications as a Civil Trial Advocacy Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and as a Civil Trial Specialist by the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization. These distinctions reflect his tested skill in courtroom advocacy and his commitment to professional excellence. He is also an active member of the Memphis Bar Association, the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, and the American Trial Lawyers Association.
