Erin Sweeney is an associate attorney at the DuMond Law Firm, PLLC, where she practices civil litigation, criminal defense, and post-conviction relief. Known for her thorough legal research and dedication to justice, Erin also brings a strong passion for elder abuse advocacy—a cause close to her heart due to personal family experience.
Erin Sweeney, Esq. earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology, with a minor in History, from the University of Georgia. While at UGA, she co-founded the Defender Advocate Society to support students facing disciplinary actions. She later received her J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 2021. During law school, Erin excelled in mock trial and moot court and gained valuable client advocacy skills through the Public Defender Clinic with the Maricopa County Public Defender’s Office.
Starting as a law clerk in 2019, Erin officially joined the DuMond Law Firm, PLLC as an attorney after passing the Arizona Bar in 2022. Since then, she has worked on complex cases across multiple legal areas. Her notable contributions include supporting a federal § 1983 civil rights case, backed by the Arizona ACLU and Arizonans for Rational Sex Offense Laws. Erin’s role in drafting persuasive motions and petitions has been instrumental in helping clients pursue justice and post-conviction relief.
Erin Sweeney’s commitment to service extends beyond the courtroom. She volunteers weekly with the Arizona Humane Society and is an advocate for animal welfare. She continues to serve as a valued member of the DuMond Law Firm, PLLC, delivering strong, compassionate representation to those navigating some of life’s most difficult legal challenges.
