Erin L. Lowenthal is an attorney whose practice focuses on family law and dispute resolution. She helps clients navigate divorce, custody, and other family-related matters with a strong commitment to fairness, collaboration, and practical problem-solving. Her approach is centered on reducing conflict and helping clients reach just outcomes with less emotional and financial strain. She is also a strong advocate for mediation and collaborative methods when they can support lasting solutions.
Erin earned her J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law. While in law school, she worked as a student practitioner in the Paul E. Wilson Project for Innocence and Post-Conviction Remedies. She also volunteered with immigrant support organizations. She earned a B.A. in English from the University of Kansas. In addition, she earned a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Kansas, strengthening her communication and advocacy skills.
Before opening her practice, Erin served as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of Hawaii in the Family Law Division and as an attorney for the County of Maui. She also served as Of Counsel to Maui Memorial Medical Center and later led a nonprofit agency that provided housing and support services to unsheltered and low-income residents. This broad background gives her valuable insight into legal, public service, and community-based issues.
Erin L. Lowenthal’s work reflects a strong belief in integrity, excellence, and collaboration. She has completed training in mediation, child advocacy, domestic violence, and settlement practices, strengthening her ability to support clients in sensitive matters.
