Erin Fishman

Erin Fishman is an experienced attorney with a strong background in commercial litigation, intellectual property, and antitrust matters. She has represented major companies across various industries, including foodservice, fire protection, and hospitality, in complex legal disputes ranging from tort claims to consumer protection cases.

Erin earned her B.A. in Psychology in 1997 and M.S. in Psychology in 1999 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She later received her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School in 2004. At GW Law, she was the production editor of the law review and served on the moot court board.

Erin began her legal career at Jones Day in Washington, DC, advising on competition and consumer protection matters. Her antitrust work involved high-profile merger reviews before the FTC and DOJ, including major transactions such as XM-Sirius and SABMiller-Coors. She guided clients through regulatory processes, including negotiating discovery requests and consent decrees.

Erin later practiced in the tort litigation group at Shook, Hardy & Bacon, where she handled all stages of litigation from complaint to trial prep. She worked on both the plaintiff and defense sides, often counseling clients on risk management and contract strategy. Her recent work includes representing a major alarm company in federal litigation under the Lanham Act.
