Eric Hart

Eric Hart is an experienced Wisconsin-based attorney with a diverse legal practice that spans family law, criminal defense, business law, real estate law, estate planning, civil litigation, and personal injury. With a commitment to client advocacy and strong courtroom skills, he has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star for four consecutive years.

Eric began his path in law after earning his B.S. from Marquette University, where he double majored in finance and marketing while minoring in political science. He later obtained his J.D. from Marquette University Law School in 2011. He is licensed to practice in Wisconsin, as well as in the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin.

Eric started his legal journey as a law clerk while still attending law school. Over time, he built a strong reputation in family and criminal law and expanded his focus to include civil matters. His work includes representing individuals in divorce, custody, and support cases, while also defending clients in complex criminal proceedings.

Eric was selected for the Milwaukee County Guardian ad Litem Improvement project, helping enhance attorney training for representing children’s best interests. He consistently volunteers with the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinic, offering limited-scope legal guidance on probate, guardianships, family law, and real estate concerns.

Eric Hart is an active member of multiple professional legal organizations. These include the Milwaukee Bar Association, Wisconsin Bar Association, and the AFCC Wisconsin Chapter. His dedication to legal service and education makes him a trusted advocate for clients across Southeast Wisconsin.
