About
Eric D. Mills is an attorney and co-founder of 406 Attorneys in Great Falls, Montana. He represents clients in personal injury cases involving automobile and construction accidents, premises liability, negligent security, medical malpractice, and wrongful death. His work also includes employment discrimination and wrongful termination claims. He helps injured people and families address disputes with insurers and other parties and pursue compensation for losses arising from negligence.
Mills earned a B.A. from Montana State University in 2003 and a J.D. from the University of Montana School of Law in 2008. His legal training prepared him for civil claims involving liability, insurance coverage, and damage calculations. After graduation, he practiced personal injury law in Missoula before returning to Great Falls. His education and earlier work provide a foundation for understanding both the legal and practical dimensions of injury cases.
Mills previously defended insurance companies in workers’ compensation, personal injury, wrongful death, and insurance disputes. He later moved to plaintiff-side representation and helped establish the firm that became 406 Attorneys. That defense experience informs his handling of injury claims and his understanding of insurer responses to settlement demands. His current matters include accidents, serious injuries, and disputes involving wrongful death or employment-related harm.
Eric D. Mills has participated in Great Falls community organizations, including Rotary and the Children’s Receiving Home, and has volunteered with local schools. His practice reflects an emphasis on communicating legal options to people facing difficult circumstances after injuries or losses. By combining experience with insurance defense and plaintiff representation, he helps clients understand claims procedures, evaluate potential remedies, and pursue fair treatment in contested cases.
