Ephraim McDowell

Ephraim McDowell is a partner at Cooley LLP and a leading lawyer in Supreme Court and appellate litigation. He represents clients in complex cases before the US Supreme Court, federal courts of appeals, and district courts. Ephraim has argued five cases before the Supreme Court and has handled many high-impact appeals involving federal law. Ephraim earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School, graduating summa cum laude. He completed his undergraduate studies at Hamilton College, earning a B.A. summa cum laude. His education reflects deep training in legal research, writing, and constitutional law.

Ephraim, before joining Cooley LLP, served in the Office of the Solicitor General at the US Department of Justice.
