Elizabeth Murrar

Elizabeth Murrar is an accomplished immigration attorney who has been practicing since 2010. Her legal career is built on a personal connection to immigration, having supported her own family through the process. This experience fuels her commitment to securing successful outcomes for clients facing life-changing immigration challenges.

Elizabeth earned her J.D. cum laude from Marquette University Law School in 2010, where she was active in client advocacy programs and received the Pro Bono Society Award. She also holds a B.A. summa cum laude in Political Science, Hebrew Studies, Middle Eastern Studies, and History from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Before her university studies, she attended Milwaukee Area Technical College, where she focused on general studies and architectural technology.

Early in her career, Elizabeth worked as an immigration legal assistant during law school, gaining foundational experience that shaped her dedication to the field. Since becoming a licensed attorney, she has helped countless individuals and families navigate the U.S. immigration system with compassion, clarity, and professionalism.

Elizabeth has served the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association in multiple roles, including Chapter Chairperson from 2017 to 2018 and currently as Liaison to the Milwaukee USCIS Field Office. Through these leadership roles, she contributes to improving immigration processes and fostering stronger relationships between attorneys and immigration authorities.

Elizabeth Murrar is also deeply committed to legal education. She currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Immigration Law at Marquette University Law School, where she mentors and prepares future immigration attorneys. Her passion for teaching and practical experience enrich the classroom, ensuring that students understand both the legal and human dimensions of immigration law.
