About
Elizabeth A. Conolly is a partner at Stackpole & French Law Offices whose practice includes civil and commercial litigation, contracts, corporate matters, real estate, land use litigation, utility law, and estate planning. She also assists with homeowners’ association and condominium matters, family and business succession planning, and estate and trust administration. Her work serves individuals, companies, organizations, and other clients facing disputes, transactions, planning needs, or property-related legal questions.
Liz’s education includes St. Lawrence University and the University of San Diego School of Law. Her academic background supports a practice that spans litigation, contracts, corporate counseling, real estate, and estate planning. That broad training is useful when matters involve overlapping legal issues, such as business agreements connected to ownership disputes or property questions tied to succession planning. It provides a foundation for analyzing risk, negotiating solutions, and preparing matters for court when necessary.
Liz represents individual, corporate, government agency, and nonprofit clients in disputes involving contracts, real property, construction, landlord-tenant matters, creditors’ rights, collections, and foreclosures. She also handles real estate and land use disputes before municipal bodies and Vermont Environmental and Civil Courts. Her corporate work includes contracts, partnership and operating agreements, employment contracts, entity formations, and entity conversions, giving her experience in both contentious and transactional matters.
Elizabeth A. Conolly joined Stackpole & French in 2014 and became a partner in 2021. Her practice combines courtroom advocacy with negotiated resolution and planning work. She also assists clients with wills, trusts, advance health care directives, durable powers of attorney, Enhanced Life Estate Deeds, and trust or estate administration. This broad experience helps clients address disputes, business arrangements, property concerns, and succession needs through coordinated and practical legal guidance.
