Elias Correa Menendez, Esq., is a Partner and Chief Legal Officer at Trembly Law Firm, where he leads the General Counsel Division and serves as fractional general counsel for businesses. He has dedicated his career to helping entrepreneurs and companies grow while protecting their interests. His practice focuses on corporate governance, franchise law, compliance, business structuring, and dispute resolution for organizations of all sizes.
Mr. Correa earned his B.A. in Political Science, magna cum laude, from the University of Puerto Rico in 1998. He went on to earn his J.D., magna cum laude, from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico in 2002, and his LL.M. in Commercial Law from Tulane University in 2004 as a Fulbright Scholar. Admitted to practice in Florida and Puerto Rico, as well as multiple federal courts, he offers clients deep knowledge of both local and cross-jurisdictional business matters.
In his practice, Mr. Correa advises clients on structuring acquisitions, membership interest purchases, and disposition of corporate assets. He also drafts subscription agreements, private placement memorandums, and franchise and licensing agreements. His experience includes representing clients in Chapter 11 and 12 proceedings, Section 363 asset auctions, and corporate disputes. Known for his problem-solving approach, he helps businesses strengthen internal systems, anticipate risks, and resolve issues while supporting long-term growth.
Beyond his client work, Elias Correa Menendez is active in professional and community organizations. He is a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association, the Florida Lawyers Network, and the Federal Bar Association, and serves on the Civil Rights Committee of the Anti-Defamation League. Fluent in English and Spanish, he combines legal knowledge, cultural understanding, and practical business insight to deliver effective strategies that protect clients and foster success.
