Eileen E. Kroll

Eileen E. Kroll is a highly experienced attorney with a background in both law and nursing. She focuses on medical malpractice and mass tort litigation, using her medical knowledge to provide strong legal representation for injured clients. With decades of experience, she has handled hundreds of cases, including birth trauma, surgical errors, emergency medicine issues, and medical negligence claims. Her expertise has led to multiple multi-million-dollar settlements, ensuring her clients receive the justice and compensation they deserve.

Eileen earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Madonna College in 1985 and became a Registered Nurse the same year. While working full-time as a nurse in the surgical intensive care unit, she pursued law school and obtained her J.D. from the University of Detroit School of Law in 1990. That same year, she was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District, and the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Eileen launched her legal career focusing on medical malpractice litigation and quickly became a leader in the field. She headed the medical malpractice department at a major Detroit law firm before joining the Law Offices of Cochran, Kroll & Associates, where she became a partner in 2013. As the lead medical malpractice trial attorney, she advocates for injured patients in complex cases involving critical care medicine, cardiology, orthopedic surgery, surgical errors, and other serious medical negligence.

Eileen E. Kroll’s legal expertise has resulted in major settlements, including a $9 million settlement for a brain-injured man and a $3.8 million settlement for a brain-injured child. In addition to medical malpractice, she is actively involved in mass tort litigation, representing individuals harmed by defective products. She has also been recognized for her work advocating for women diagnosed with ovarian cancer linked to talcum powder use.

As a dedicated member of the Michigan Association for Justice (MAJ) and the American Association for Justice (AAJ), Eileen works to protect victims’ rights. She regularly attends legal seminars and has participated in AAJ’s national lobbying efforts, advocating for clients before Congress.
