Donald H. Bacon

Donald H. Bacon serves as of counsel in the Litigation and Medical Malpractice Practice Groups at Friday, Eldredge & Clark, LLP. His practice concentrates on professional liability defense, representing lawyers, doctors, accountants, and insurance agents in both state and federal courts. He also defends clients before professional boards and continues to litigate in product liability, aviation, and wrongful death cases.

Donald earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Arkansas before completing his Juris Doctor with honors at the University of Arkansas School of Law in 1978. While in law school, he served as Articles Editor and Associate Editor of the Arkansas Law Review, establishing the strong academic foundation that has shaped his distinguished litigation career.

Over the course of his practice, Donald has tried more than 180 jury cases in a wide range of civil matters. He has served clients in nearly every state circuit court in Arkansas as well as in federal district courts. His representation extends to appeals before the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, and he has significant experience in high-stakes commercial and malpractice litigation for both individuals and major corporations.

Donald H. Bacon’s career achievements have earned national recognition. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a Diplomate of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He has been consistently listed in The Best Lawyers in America since 2005, recognized by Chambers USA in commercial litigation, and honored with the Arkansas Association of Defense Counsel’s “Outstanding Defense Attorney” award. With decades of experience, Donald is widely regarded for his trial advocacy, professionalism, and leadership in Arkansas litigation practice.
